Jaspreet Manhani, co-owner of the upcoming Tandoori Flame and Indian Grill, has confirmed that the restaurant will hopefully open soon at 345 15th Ave E Suite 201 in Capitol Hill.

“My husband, Bobby, who is the other co-owner of Tandoori Flame and Indian Grill, will also be joining me in this venture,” Manhani told What Now Seattle, “Bobby has been honing his culinary skills since he was 15 years old, and he brings his extensive experience to Tandoori. I have also managed multiple restaurants in Capitol Hill and will bring that managerial expertise to the table.”

The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, and the owners are eager to open their doors to the community as soon as possible but have yet to confirm an official opening date.

The menu at Tandoori Flame & Indian Grill will feature North Indian cuisine. Northern Indian food is known for its rich and complex flavors that are achieved through the use of a variety of spices and dairy products. It is also commonly identified by its reliance on traditional cooking methods such as the tandoor oven and tawa griddle, as well as the use of wheat-based staples. Chicken and lamb are common ingredients used in curries and kebabs for meat options.
