Doe Bay Wine Co., has decided to expand from Orcas Island with a second location in Seattle located at Shared Roof, 7009 Greenwood Ave N.
You’ll find a great selection of wine, beer, sake, and cider at Doe Bay. Provided you need some assistance with your own wine cellar, for example, the shop’s experts are available for consultations as well. They also do tasting and corporate events to provide more wine education and give an experience that’s more indepth for their customers.
“We want everyone to feel comfortable. We like to have fun and work with exciting people,” Owner Cole Sisson told What Now Seattle. “It’s a pretty dynamic, little business that has a lot of tendrils that come out.”
Sisson’s world travels has provided him with much experience in the field not to mention his time working with Michelin star chefs. He also runs The Orcas Project, which he descried as “an experimental winery with a collaborative approach with 10 highly acclaimed Northwest winemakers on projects.” This has allowed him the chance to be more active within the wine community and make some really fun and “wacky” creations.
Doe Bay Wine Co. is a quaint 420 square feet with twelve seats inside and twelve outside. They plan to keep things “alive and fluid.”
The opening timeframe is expected to be at the end of May 2023.
