According to a recent permit filing, Evergreen State Brewery aims to open in Tacoma at 3120 S Tacoma Way.

Evergreen State Brewery aims to debut as a microbrewery. Behind the new concept is Matthew Burnett. Evergreen State Brewery LLC’s filing status is active, but pending, according to Bizapedia.

Evergreen’s address listed on the permit filing is also listed as being home to Gig Harbor Brewing. At the time of this article’s creation, Gig Harbor Brewing has not been marked as closed, according to Yelp.

Gig Harbor Brewing’s website states, “Founded in 2015, Gig Harbor Brewing has built a solid reputation for producing a delicious line of core micro brews, while exploring and experimenting with a wide variety of ingredients and styles to create new and exciting beers for our Brewery fans to try.”

“The production brewery has more than tripled in capacity over the past few years, and after opening their second taproom along the waterfront in downtown Gig Harbor in 2017, more and more people have had the opportunity to drink and enjoy Gig Harbor Brewing beer.”

The property itself, according to Loop Net, was built in 1946. The building consists of one story and boasts 8,400 square feet of space.
