Walla Walla Steak Co. Woodinville
Walla Walla Steak Co. opened its second location in 2022 in the historic No. 23 Schoolhouse, part of downtown Woodinville’s Schoolhouse District. The restaurant’s steakhouse dining room and a more casual taproom-inspired space are part of The Schoolhouse District, a new mixed-use community project in downtown Woodinville. The building remained empty for over a decade before Walla Walla Steak restored and rebranded it as its location.
Walla Walla Steak Co. is known for its seasonal dishes and 1855 Black Angus Beef, served in both its formal steakhouse and casual taproom spaces. The restaurant and bar also offer an extensive local wine, beer, and cocktail list.
Sharing the news on Facebook, Walla Walla Steak Co. Woodinville wrote, “Cheers to Woodinville! After three wonderful years, Walla Walla Steak Co. Woodinville will serve its final dinner on Thursday, September 4, 2025.”
In the post, the restaurant expressed its appreciation and said, “We’re so grateful to our team, guests, and the Woodinville community for all the celebrations shared here.”

“I am so sorry to read this! Have enjoyed this space. If we have a GC for this specific location, would it work in Walla Walla after you close? Or we should head on in?,” wrote another customer of the restaurant.
As Walla Walla Steak Co. Woodinville prepares to close its doors, the restaurant’s legacy will continue at the original Walla Walla location, carrying forward the tradition of shared meals and celebrations. The restaurant has not shared an official reason for closing its Woodinville location.
