A Seattle-based fast-casual burger chain plans to debut its sixth location next year.

Great State Burger, known for its tagline “Burgers for the win!,” will open at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Concourse C.

Nathan Yeager acquired the burger joint from Renee Erickson’s Sea Creature portfolio and now runs it alongside partners Chad Dale and Ira Gerlich, What Now Seattle previously reported.

Retail and hospitality firm Design Well Spent Co. designed the new location, and Yeager said they “nailed it,” according to a press release.

“I could not be more pleased and blown away with DWS Co’s design. I am very excited to see this project come to life and give the traveling public a local brand that cares about food, the environment, and people. The DWS Co contribution to this project has been invaluable,” Yeager said in a statement.

Great State Burger features Washington-raised, grass-fed beef from Pure Country, aged bacon from Jack Mountain Meats and organic produce from Billy’s Garden.

The menu highlights classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers, along with the signature “Great State Burger,” made with American cheese, organic lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and state sauce. Other offerings include the “Boss Burger,” with two beef patties, bacon and all the fixings, and the “Great State Veggie Burger,” featuring Abbot’s veggie patty, 60-day-aged Swiss cheese, organic lettuce, pickles, mustard and ketchup.

Guests can pair all burgers with crinkle-cut fries, onion rings or milkshakes.

For early risers, Great State Burger also offers breakfast options, including classic breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns.

Great State Burger also operates locations in Laurelhurst, downtown Seattle, T-Mobile Park, Pier 54 and Lincoln Square. The company has not announced an official opening date for the Sea-Tac Airport location, but the website lists it as “Coming early 2026.”
