Haywire Brewing Co. Will Soon Reopen At a New Location in Snohomish

During the early 2000s, the craft beer scene in Memphis, Tennessee was scarce, with only a single local brewery and a handful of tap houses. Frustrated by the lack of variety, the owners decided to join a Homebrew Club with colleagues, hoping to unlock the secrets of creating more flavorful craft beer, according to the company website.

While any changes with the new location or a reopening date have yet to be confirmed, Haywire Brewing Co. is the result of a passionate homebrewer’s dream, nurtured through experimentation and a desire to bring flavorful craft beer to an underserved market. Founded by a determined individual in Memphis, Tennessee, Haywire Brewing Co. has evolved into a family business with a commitment to community and a rustic, chic atmosphere.

Inspired by their successes and buoyed by the encouragement of industry peers, the notion of turning their passion into a family business started to take shape. An ambitious search for a suitable location ensued, and fate once again played its part when an intriguing Craigslist ad caught their attention: “Looking for a distillery or brewery to open in our hay barn.” This unexpected opportunity paved the way for Haywire Brewing Co.’s next chapter, according to the company website.
