Hops and Seed Brewery is set to relocate to a new location in Woodinville, according to its owner John Bigelow. The brewery was previously based in Snohomish but will soon move to 18800 142nd Ave NE on Artisan Hill.

The target date for the relocation is June 1st, with the team working diligently in hopes of wrapping up the final steps and meeting this goal for early summer overall.

“The decision to move was fueled by the desire to be closer to a community of like-minded breweries. The Woodinville area is home to great breweries, and Hops and Seed Brewery hopes to create a supportive and non-competitive environment within this community,” Bigelow told What Now Seattle.

Hops and Seed Brewery began in 2010 when a teenager named Dru Seed brewed beer in a shed with his family and shared it with friends. After becoming the Cellar Master at JM Cellars, Dru left to pursue a degree in Viticulture and Enology, eventually returning to JM as a harvest intern during the pandemic. Owner John Bigelow recognized Dru’s talent and offered him the opportunity to pilot a small brewery within JM Cellars, leading to the creation of Hops and Seed Brewery, according to their website.
