Downtown Olympia will soon get its caffeine fix.
Johnny Coffee, owned by Samuel Larsen, is gearing up to open its second location at 550 Capital Way, according to the shop’s Instagram bio, which teases, “coming soon to Downtown Olympia.” The original café is based in Silverdale.
In addition to expanding, the shop plans to launch online ordering soon through its website.
“We’re a modern coffee shop with an old soul. The type of place where you can kick back and crack wise with your barista while enjoying a cup of boutique coffee, house-made eats, or your choice of hot teas. We don’t judge. We just want you to enjoy yourself,” the coffee shop’s website reads.
Johnny Coffee serves organic tea and coffee, espresso drinks such as lattes made with wood-roasted espresso and steamed milk, and single-origin, blended and ceremonial matcha. The menu also includes homemade waffles, toasts and sandwiches.
The new shop opens daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. For grand opening updates, visit the shop’s website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
