A local brewery is working on a new location in Downtown Seattle.

Reuben’s Brews is planned for a space on 1st Avenue, not far from Pike Place Market. The location at the top of the Harbor Steps will have room for about 250 people plus outdoor seating, The Seattle Times reports. There will be at least 20 beers on tap, as well as some offerings that are exclusive to the location.

This will be the third tasting room for Reuben’s Brews. Their Ballard taproom opened in 2015, followed by an additional taproom with a full kitchen in Fremont in October 2023. They also have a production brewery and event spaces.

Co-founder Adam Robbings began homebrewing in 2010 after his son, Reuben, was born. Their original brewery opened in 2012, and they began bottling their beer in 2013.

Reuben’s Brews is expected to open in Downtown Seattle by early summer.
