A popular California-based sandwich and salad chain is opening its sixth area Seattle-location in 2027.
Mendocino Farms, operated by president Kevin Miles, is set to open at Northgate Station.
“In 2027 JOE & THE JUICE, Mendocino Farms, Shake Shack, and local favorite Supreme Dumplings will join the growing lineup,” Northgate Station shared via Instagram.
The fast-casual spot offers an assortment of sandwiches, salads and soups.
“At Mendocino Farms, your favorite food experience awaits. Our creative sandwiches, salads and more take you on an unexpected culinary adventure with fresh ingredients and fearless flavor combinations,” the website reads.
Menu highlights include the “Not So Fried” Chicken, Turkey Avo Salsa Verde and The Happy Hippie sandwiches, as well as salads like Thai Mango, Avocado and Quinoa, Superfood Ensalada and The Modern Caesar. Seasonal chef specials include The Seasonal GOAT with Sweet Citrus, Smoky BBQ Brioche Sandwich and The Farmhouse Ranch Salad. Guests can also opt for a ½ sandwich combo with a deli side or cup of soup.
Mendocino Farms opened its first location in 2005 in downtown Los Angeles’ Bunker Hill neighborhood. Founded as a family business, the brand’s mission is to offer more than just good food. According to its website, the goal was to create “a welcoming gathering place where happiness is always an order away.”
The restaurant has a strong presence across California, with locations in Los Angeles, Orange County, Northern California, San Diego and Sacramento. It has since expanded to Colorado, Illinois and Texas.
In the Seattle area, Mendocino Farms also operates in Downtown Seattle, South Lake Union, Totem Lake, Redmond and Bellevue. The Northgate Station location will add to the brand’s growing portfolio.
