According to a recent permit filing, Mioposto has filed for an Eastlake location at 2501 Eastlake Avenue E.

A representative of Mioposto was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, behind Mioposto is the Sound Restaurant Family. The Sound Restaurant Family is also behind concepts such as The Poodle Dog, The Hob Nob, and Knapp’s.

According to Mioposto’s company website, “Mioposto is a family-owned pizzeria, bar, and Italian kitchen focusing on open-flame cooking and big, hand-crafted flavors. Our ingredient-driven menu highlights elegant simplicity in cozy neighborhood settings.”

“We serve open-flame pizzas, steak, calamari, creative share plates, as well as craft cocktails using in-house infusions. Mioposto features a thoughtfully curated wine list featuring imported and local Washington wines.”

“Mioposto was founded in 2006 in the Mt. Baker neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The goal was to create a date-night pizzeria that followed the Italian standard of sourcing the finest ingredients while creating a gathering spot for neighbors to build community.”

“Since then, we have expanded to three more neighborhood locations in Seattle and Mercer Island. We hope we have created spaces where you can sit back, and feel seen, safe, and accepted exactly as you are.”
