Seattle’s culinary scene is about to get even more flavorful with the opening of Mr. Gyros’ new location at 8535 Phinney Ave N in Greenwood, according to a recent permit filing.

A representative of Mr. Gyros did not immediately return a request for comment.

Mr. Gyros’ menu features their popular namesake gyros, made with tender strips of lamb or beef cooked to perfection on a vertical rotisserie. Wrapped in warm pita bread and served with fresh vegetables, tzatziki sauce, and aromatic herbs, gyros offer a delectable combination of flavors.

They also offer other Mediterranean staples, such as crispy deep-fried falafel made from chickpeas or fava beans, and shawarma, featuring thinly sliced marinated and roasted meat served with pickled vegetables, garlic sauce, and other condiments, all wrapped in soft pita bread for a burst of Mediterranean flavors and textures.

The company currently operates three locations, including Ballard, Wallingford, and Lynnwood.
