A new slice of the pie is headed to Seattle’s University District as a fresh pizza shop prepares to open.

Sinner’s Pizza, owned by Ryan Kunkel, will open at 4529 University Way NE, taking over the former Supreme Pizzeria & Bar space, according to Seattle Met.

Kunkel, who has a background in the casino and cannabis industries, is stepping into a new venture. He is known for his work with Imperial Palace Casino and the Have a Heart cannabis retail chain, which operates in Washington, Hawaii, Oregon, California, Iowa and Ohio, according to his LinkedIn page.

While details about the new pizzeria are limited, it may follow Supreme’s lead with large, New York–style pizzas.

What Now Seattle reached out to the Sinner’s team. This is a developing story; more details will be added as they become available.
