Hospitality and concept developing group, APICII, will take over The Daily Grill space at the Sheraton Grand Seattle with new restaurant, Alder & Ash, located at 629 Pike St., confirmed by VP of Operations J. Holmes. Puget Sound Business Journal was first to report the news.

Details are still being kept from the public until closer to opening, according to a spokesperson for APICII, but Holmes told What Now Seattle the restaurant is in the process of hiring and “going down the road for this.” Hiring is historically one of the last steps a new restaurant takes in opening.

“APICII operates a portfolio of acclaimed hospitality experiences throughout the US, comprised of restaurants, membership clubs, bars, cafes, event spaces and entertainment venues,” the hospitality company’s website states. On its projects tab, it shows they are also working with the Seattle Mariners on a 35,000 square foot development at a warehouse across from the stadium to include “a beer garden, micro brewery, Seattle themed sports bar & grill, entertainment venue and 18,000 sq. ft of private event spaces.”

Alder & Ash is scheduled to open sometime in 2023, according to APICII’s website. Representatives for Sheraton Grand Seattle were unavailable for comment.
