The Stepping Stone Pub is coming back to life in the form of another location and a new name.

Stepping Stone will be reopening as Schooner Street Pub in the former Pour Decisions location at 8000 15th Avenue NW, per an article from My Ballard. This announcement was made three months after their closure in January 2025.

The business has been around since 2013, owned by Darren and Liz Miller. On the menu of Stepping Stone, there were cocktails, beer, wine, as well as sandwiches and soups. The menu of the new location will have similar options, according to a Facebook post from Stepping Stone.

Pour Decisions was on 15th Ave NW for three years before closing in 2024. More bars on the street include Fuel Sports Grill, Thunderbird Tavern and Waterwheel Lounge. Ballard is located on the north side of the city.

The article reported the new bar will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. They are already listed as the new location in place of Pour Decisions. No opening date has been announced.
