A pizza shop is continuing to roll out its dough with plans for a new location.
Pagliacci Pizza, owned by Matthew Galvin and Patrick McDonald, is opening its 27th location in the Puget Sound region. The pizzeria will be located near the newly completed Redmond light rail station, according to Seattle Business Magazine.
The company is also testing a new delivery method. Through a partnership with Zipline, customers may soon receive their orders via drone. Zipline is currently testing drone deliveries for Walmart in Dallas, the outlet reported.
What Now Seattle reached out to Pagliacci Pizza, but the company has not yet responded.
Founded in 1979, Pagliacci set out to deliver the best-tasting, highest-quality pizza to the greater Seattle area. The company uses Northwest artisanal ingredients and fresh, local produce. Dough is made daily with live yeast and contains no stabilizers or additives.
“We use 100% whole milk mozzarella crafted from the milk of grass-fed, hormone free cows. Our tangy and naturally sweet sauce is made from the best, freshly picked vine-riped tomatoes,” the website reads.
The menu includes pizza, salads, calzones, breadsticks, centioli and pasta. For dessert, the shop offers cookies and gelato. Beverage options include beer—such as IPAs—and wines like Falchini Chianti and Falchini Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
“Working with local seasonal foods everyday inspires us to look after our environment. We actively seek fresh ways to use less and use wisely whether it’s composting boxes and food waste, saving water and energy, or doing our part to bring ‘green’ power to the Pacific Northwest from local utilities,” Galvin said via the website.
Pagliacci also sells branded merchandise, including baseball caps and T-shirts.
While an exact date hasn’t been announced, Pagliacci Pizza is aiming for an October opening.
