Panterrelli, a soon-to-be specialty eclair and coffee shop, is set to open its doors in two weeks at 4210 SW Alaska Street in the Genesse district, as confirmed by the owner Jacques Nawar.

Nawar told What Now Seattle that he was inspired to open the shop by his childhood love for pastries and a lack of specialty eclairs in the area.

Named after the creator of choux pastry, Panterrelli will host a variety of pastry eclairs, choux cream puffs, and specialty coffee. For those unfamiliar with choux pastry, it is a light and airy dough made from butter, flour, water, and eggs that are commonly used to make cream puffs, eclairs, and other delicate pastries.
