Capitol Hill is about to get a little sweeter.
Petit Pierre Bakery, owned by Pierre Poulin, is set to take over the cafe side of Métier Cycling and Cafe this fall, the Seattle Met reported.
Métier is a cycling shop with a cafe, retail space, service course, bike rental kiosk, bike-fit studio and performance testing and coaching lab. Petit Pierre has previously partnered with Métier for pop-up events, serving pastries, sandwiches with wine and beer on tap.
Petit Pierre’s pastry menu showcases buttery croissants, pain au chocolat, almond and pistachio-filled treats, mini tarts in flavors like chocolate ganache, mixed berry, lemon meringue, and fruit, as well as quiches featuring ham and cheese or seasonal vegetables.
Sandwiches range from classic combinations such as prosciutto with mozzarella and arugula to chicken salad croissants and BLTAs with avocado, often available in curated lunch boxes including chips, cookies and drinks.
The bakery’s beverage selection includes espresso-based drinks, specialty lattes in flavors such as cinnamon, pistachio and mocha, cold brew coffee, Italian sodas, lemonade and tea.
Customers can expect Petit Pierre to open at the end of September inside the cycling shop. In the meantime, the bakery continues to serve patrons at its Magnolia and Phinney outposts.
What Now Seattle reached out to the Petit Pierre Bakery team, however, they have not yet responded. This article may be updated.
