According to a recent permit filing, Pie Dive Bar has filed for a new location in Gold Bar at 201 Croft Avenue.
A representative of Pie Dive Bar was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the company website, this will be the second location for Pie Dive Bar. The first location resides in Snohomish.
“What is a “Pie Bar”? A community gathering space where you see the same folks day after day that feels like a special communal ground that isn’t home or work. Pie Bar’s concept embraces community, acceptance, inclusion, and diversity.”
“Pie Bar is a niche concept with an open kitchen that serves up a full menu of savory pies alongside sweet pies with cocktails, mocktails, local beer, wine, and cider. It’s a place where you can take a date, take your family, come solo or bring your kiddos, grab a slice of chicken pot pie and a beer for lunch or dinner, and a late-night place where you can grab a delicious homemade fruit or cream pie paired with a craft cocktail.”
“Your kiddo can have a cookies and cream pie with a mocktail. Our customers can catch the pie-making in action while our bakers use our signature hydraulic pie press, peeling, cutting, and mixing our fresh fruit ingredients, racking the pies in and out of the oven, perfectly placing each grandma-style creation, on a windowsill where they cool.”
Behind Pie Dive Bar are two people, Alyssa and Hart Kingsbery. “Alyssa Kingsbery is an award-winning Food Network pie maker, founder of Pie Bar, author, and Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Hart Kingsbery is a well-known Seattle country rock musician, song writer, bartender, carpenter, and artist,” the website states.
