Pin-Up Arcade Bar Slated to Open in Bellingham’s Central Business District

The space for Pin-Up Arcade Bar is stated to have been the former Golden Rule and Sports Chalet space, according to Loop Net.

According to a recent permit filing, Pin-Up Arcade Bar will soon open in Bellingham’s Central Business District at 118 W Holly Street.

A representative of Pin-Up Arcade Bar was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, Pin-Up Arcade Bar comes from Best Buds Gaming Lounge LLC. Listed on the permit filing and the business filing, according to Open Gov WA, are Hugh Newmark and Alexis Ritz.

Hugh is also behind 1-Up Lounge, also located in Bellingham. According to 1-Up’s website, they’re Bellingham’s first and only cocktail lounge with video games. They provide “everything from retro to the new consoles.”

When it comes to the property itself for Pin-Up Arcade Bar, according to Loop Net, the building was originally built in 1925 with 14,500 square footage that was available for lease. It is also marked as a historical building.

“Approximately 14,500 ft of space on 3 levels leased as one space. 7000+/- main, 6000 lower level ., 1500 mezzanine. High ceilings, exposed brick, and hardwood floors. Frontage on both Holly St and the adjoining alley.”
