Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood welcomes a new owner at a popular local restaurant.

Americana, at 218 Broadway E., is now led by Jesus “Chuy” Mendoza Gamillo, Perfecto Mendoza Gamillo and Oscar Contreras Salazar. For Chuy, a longtime line cook in Americana’s kitchen, this is a full-circle moment, according to Capitol Hill Seattle Blog.

“Americana Restaurant is excited to announce that we are entering a new chapter under new management! We look forward to continuing to serve great food and warm hospitality,” an Instagram post read.

The cozy bistro, with the tagline “where every meal feels like home,” is known for its comfort classics and daily brunch.

Menu highlights include an avocado and pepper jack omelet served with handmade pico de gallo, sour cream and roasted herb potatoes; chilaquiles with your choice of salsa and carne asada or chicken; and a Croque Madame, with grilled sourdough layered with ham and gruyere, topped with béchamel sauce and two sunny-side-up eggs.

Guests can enjoy breakfast cocktails such as mimosas alongside their meal.

Americana is open every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
