Portage Bay Cafe is expanding its reach with a sixth location set to open soon. According to recent permit filings, the new cafe will be located at 2417 NW Market St in the Adams district.

A representative of Portage Bay Cafe did not immediately return What Now Seattle’s request for comment.

Portage Bay Cafe serves local, organic, and sustainable cuisines on a seasonal menu. While a concrete opening date has yet to be confirmed, diners can expect to find an array of options, including benedicts, sandwiches, and breakfast bar items. If you’d like a staff-recommended choice, you can peruse their house favorites section, which includes options such as huevos rancheros or biscuits and gravy.

The cafe’s chefs also offer a substantial monthly special sheet in addition to the regular menu, according to their website. With collaboration from a range of Washington farmers and distributors throughout the year, the cafe has a continuous goal to host new partnerships and ingredients.
