According to a recent permit filing, Reuben’s Brews is set to expand to another location in Wallingford at 4401 Fremont Ave N.

A representative of Reuben’s Brews was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, founded in 2012, Reuben’s Brews emerged as a testament to the artistry and passion of Adam and Grace Robbings, named after their first child, Reuben. With a foundation rooted in Adam’s journey through the world of homebrewing, the family-owned brewery stands as a tribute to craftsmanship and innovation. At Reuben’s Brews, every pint is a labor of love, brewed with intention and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Reuben’s Brews defies convention by crafting each beer “from the glass backward.” This approach involves meticulous design, unrestrained by limitations, with hopes of leading to a range of brews that captivate the palate.

In August of 2012, the doors to the original brewery and tasting room swung open in the heart of Ballard. Although it closed to the public in 2015 upon the debut of the taproom, the original space continues to be the birthplace of innovation. Here, on a 5-barrel system, pilot batches are crafted weekly, driving experimentation and evolution.

Originally hailing from the UK, Adam Robbings found himself enchanted by the vibrant beer culture of the Pacific Northwest upon his move in 2004. His accolades include a Silver Medal at the 2012 National Homebrew Competition, accompanied by a stint at UC Davis. The culmination of his journey materialized in the opening of Reuben’s Brews.

For Grace Robbings, the journey of Reuben’s Brews began with a sip of Adam’s first homebrew. Surprised by its excellence, she is described as becoming his greatest supporter. Behind the scenes, she deftly handles the brewery’s financial and legal aspects, allowing the team to focus on their shared vision. Grace’s commitment to Reuben’s Brews goes beyond words, as her presence at festivals and her dedication to the brewery’s operations truly embody the spirit of a family-driven endeavor, according to the company website.
