The team behind 19 Gold is preparing to bring a fresh Taiwanese dining concept to Seattle.

Cheng’s Dumplings and Noodle Co. will open in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood in 2026, according to The Puget Sound Business Journal.

Cheng’s will join two other new restaurants opening on the ground floor of the Tapestry Apartments.

Co-owner Angela Cheng told the outlet the new concept is inspired by her grandfather, who crafted homemade dumplings and noodles. The menu will spotlight handcrafted dumplings, house-made beef noodles and signature dishes such as Taiwanese popcorn chicken and marinated beef wraps.

The new restaurant will add to the growing list of dumpling spots in Yesler Terrace and the surrounding area, including Dough Zone Dumpling House, known for its juicy xiao long bao and pan-fried pork dumplings and Dim Sum King, which offers an extensive menu of steamed dumplings, buns and rice rolls.

What Now Seattle reached out to the Cheng’s Dumplings and Noodle Co. team, however, they have not yet responded. This article may be updated.
