Following the closure of their Rainier Valley location the taco restaurant is bringing a new spot to Tacoma.
It was recently reported by The Seattle Times that Taco Street will be opening a new location in Tacoma. On Taco Street’s Instagram page, they list a new location as “coming soon.” The business announced on May 6 they were converting their Seattle restaurant at 7136 Martin Luther King Jr Way S into a “commissary kitchen.”
“We are thrilled to announce we will be opening a new location in Tacoma this fall,” said the release on their website. There is already a Tacoma location at 5101 Yacht Club Road, so this would be the second in the city.
Taco Street is a family owned business that started out as a street cart and now has two locations in the Seattle area. The tacos offered include carne asada taco, barbacoa, shrimp, SO CAL, carnitas, pastor and the taco street special. They also have tortas, burritos, plates, agua frescas and sides.
There is not yet an address for the new Tacoma location, but the business says it is coming soon. For more information, visit their website tacostreetfood.com.
