A new bar lounge will soon open in Tacoma, called The Crafty Beaver, at 612 Tacoma Ave S, according to its owner Jeremy McDonald.
“The Crafty Beaver will have a selection of beverages to suit every palate. Customers can expect a variety of beers on tap and in bottles, as well as a thoughtfully curated wine list. To complement the libations, the lounge will offer artisan pizzas made with a premade dough of the highest quality,” McDonald told What Now Seattle, “I have an anticipated opening date in September/October, depending on permitting processes, but am so excited to open this new space for the Tacoma community.”
Jeremy’s personal connection to the area adds an extra layer of excitement, as he recalls growing up with only a few bars in the vicinity. Now, he takes immense pride in contributing to the community’s growth and is enthusiastic about the gelato place next door, and working with the community as a whole.
The interior design will feature comfortable booths, providing a private and intimate setting for guests. To enhance the overall ambiance, the lounge will have a lower music volume, allowing patrons to engage in conversation without distraction. A highlight of The Crafty Beaver’s vision is to provide an elevated vibe, offering a respite from the bustling city outside.

This post is erroneous and a blatant lie. I own the Blackwell Mansion. There are no plans to open a restaurant at the building.
Looking forward to visiting your Lounge in the near future.
