A new bar and grill is buzzing into the Klickitat area.
The Hive, owned by Matthew Leffler, will open at 105 N. Main St., with its Instagram bio teasing, “Coming Soon!”
“For Gorge adventurers: savor US & Argentine empanadas, Fugazzeta pizza, and more!” the page reads.
Fugazzeta, a stuffed pizza from Argentina, has two layers of dough, a generous cheese filling and a topping of sweet onions.
The Hive will offer a full-service bar with beer, wine and spirits after the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board recently approved its liquor license, according to business filings.
Photos shared on social media show a space with an old-school bar feel and wood-paneled walls. A simple table with metal-framed chairs sits beside a booth, black swivel stools line the bar and a pool table sits nearby. Patterned carpet brightens the wood tones, while framed black-and-white photos on the walls evoke nostalgic charm.
The bar has not announced an official opening date, but follow its Instagram page for updates.
