A new restaurant is set to debut in Spokane.

The Temple Tavern, co-owned by Taylor Rainwater, is set to open at 706 W. Garland Ave., according to the restaurant’s Instagram page.

The space was previously home to North Hill on Garland Restaurant and Bar. North Hill closed its doors on December 31, 2025.

I’ll cherish memories from my hometown, the people I’ve met, and the restaurant I reopened for you, the Garland neighborhood,” Former owner David Hayes shared on Facebook. “After carefully considering several potential buyers, I believe these talented young people will thrive and find great success.”
