According to a recent permit filing, U Wine Bar aims to debut in the Wallingford area at 4455 Stone Way N.

U Wine Bar aims to open its doors sometime in the winter of this year as a “21+ venue for drinks, games, and community. U Wine Bar is the first solo venture of Seattle-based entrepreneur Elijah Ostrow.”

“We don’t just serve drinks and sell games. We curate. Each selection is carefully sourced with a focus on quality and the relentless pursuit of excellence.”

“From our knowledgeable staff to our elite product selection we are committed to doing the work for you. Our menu features a curated selection of local small-batch libations, select snacks and of course, world class wine.”

“For individuals who love tabletop gaming and are unwilling to compromise on experience. We’ve ditched the plastic chairs and windowless basement for a sleek modern wine bar. Here client comfort and experience is central.”

“Rather than stock every title or an exhaustive list of wines, we did the work for you. We’ve painstakingly tested, refined, and sourced the best games and wines for our space.”

“U Wine Bar is a labor of love for Elijah as he brings his passion for tabletop gaming, and wine to his home neighborhood of Wallingford, Seattle. One afternoon despite having the option of many centrally located game stores in New York, Elijah travelled over an hour to play a game of Commander.”

“The game was hosted in Forest Hills, NY. at one player’s apartment. This sparked the initial question: “Why do we choose to play at home rather than go to the local game stores?”
