A new cafe promoting health and wellness is soon to open in the Buckley area.

Wellhouse, to be at 729 Main Street in Buckley, will be opening in June. The business recently posted they are looking for a head chef for the organic cafe. This will be part of two phases, one being the restaurant and the second being a wellness center with saunas, red light therapy, cold plunges and other services.

“Your local spot for good food, good vibes, and whole-body wellness,” said the website’s description. The listed owner is Sarah Johansen, and she is the co-founder of Wellhouse with her husband, Jalen.

From the menu on their website, there will be hearty wraps and sandwiches, wholesome salads, bowls, protein-packed smoothies, refreshing mocktails, organic yogurt parfaits and expresso drinks and teas. The job posting said the food will be based on local ingredients.

There is not a timeline for the second phase, but the first phase of the cafe will be open in June. Hours of operation have also not been announced.
