According to a recent permit filing, Wine Shop Vashon will be introducing a new wine cafe in Vashon at 17205 Vashon Hwy SW STE C2.

“I am already open for the wine shop, however, I am becoming an “on-premise” establishment. Wine Shop is a community-focused space for tasting, learning, and hanging out. To clarify, I am currently a retail bottle shop with tasting options that are daily, and my new iteration will be a wine cafe.”

“I hope to be rolling with glass pours and small plates by December 15th! My menu will be small plates with a focus on toast and loads of wonderful things that go on toast,” owner Elizabeth “Liz” Ophoven told What Now Seattle.

“We also provide nationwide shipping, wine clubs, case discounts, wedding wine curation, and private event options,” Ophoven added.

Listed on Wine Shop Vashon’s website are a range of wine options, such as white wines, red wines, sparkling wines, and rosé options. Prices can range from $12 a bottle to $100 a bottle, depending on your wine selection.

According to Wine Searcher, Wine Shop Vashon is described as a “Retail bottle shop and tasting room. Explore wines produced by talented winemakers of the Pacific Northwest, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.”
