Catbird was founded in 2004 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The brand began as a small neighborhood jewelry store with a focus on thoughtful design and a strong connection with local artists. Catbird has grown to become a renowned name in demi-fine jewelry.

Catbird focuses on creating jewelry meant to be worn every day. It features a delicate, stackable style that combines high-quality materials with aesthetic appeal. The brand later introduced its first engagement ring collection, The Swans.

In 2014, the founder and creative director were inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The following year, the brand established the Catbird Giving Fund to support community non-profits.

Lately, Catbird has been recognized by Forbes and The New York Times, highlighting it as a sustainable and ethical brand.

Since its growth, Catbird has expanded its presence beyond its original Brooklyn store while still supporting independent designers and artists. The brand also has a strong e-commerce presence to offer its unique style to a broader audience.

Today, Catbird is recognized for its signature collections of rings, necklaces, bracelets, and charms, designed to stack, layer, and personalize.

The Seattle store marks Catbird’s continued retail expansion. The launch weekend festivities aim to welcome shoppers and celebrate the brand’s arrival in the city.
