A new restaurant serving seafood and chicken is preparing to make its debut in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District this summer. Called Cheeky’s, the new concept from Nate Siegel of Willa’s will open at 2823 Central Avenue, according to recent coverage by Creative Loafing Tampa.

“Cheeky’s is a neighborhood restaurant & oyster bar…” says the brand’s website. “See you at Cheeky’s for a good time, every time.”

The Creative Loafing Tampa coverage describes a menu featuring “oysters, local seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, chowders, fried chicken, fresh salads, and rotating daily specials for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and a lively happy hour.”

What Now reached out to Nate Siegel on Wednesday to ask about plans for the opening. Siegel declined to make any immediate comment, but What Now is awaiting an update by email.

We’re looking forward to seeing what else will be on the menu!
