3Natives, the Florida-based acai purveyors and juicery, is wrapping up construction on a new Sarasota outpost located in University Town Center at 315 N Cattlemen Road, with plans to open by the end of the year, according to franchisee Patrick McCarthy.

3Natives is the brainchild of former salesperson Anthony Bambino who was inspired to open a humble 900-square-foot juice bar in Tequesta in 2013, following the entrepreneur’s business trips through Southern California where he saw “little juice bars all over the place,” and “wanted to bring that same type of healthy and quick food to South Florida,” according to the company’s website

Today, the brand operates upwards of 20 locations, 19 of which are in Florida with one in Oklahoma. Its menu consists of 100 percent and fair trade Sambazon acai, and “[supports] a company that helps over 20,000 local family farmers in Brazil,” and “protects 2+ million acres of rainforest,” all while donating five percent of the fruit costs back to the Brazilian community.
