The business center on East Bay Drive between Bedford Circle West and Newport Road in Clearwater will soon be home to a new chicken restaurant and buffet. Called Golden Fried Chicken, it’s opening later this spring, owner Serey Siev told What Now on Wednesday.
“We’re going to have a buffet, fried chicken, fish,” Siev said. “Dine-in and takeout too.”
The Golden Fried Chicken space seats about 52 guests, and it will be bringing back the old-fashioned buffet—something that was once ubiquitous and is now ever harder to find.
“There’s just no more buffets,” said Siev. “So many closed down.”
Further details on the menu on offer at Golden Fried Chicken are not yet available, but What now will be on the lookout for more details. In the meantime, expect to be able to get your fill of fried chicken and more this spring in Clearwater.
