Back in May of last year, What Now reported on plans for the opening of Urban Crunch Creamery Cafe in Odessa. It opened last summer and has been a kind of local secret, operating at 13270 Pine Gap Spur with only minimal signage. (The secret’s out now: better go check it out!)

As “creamery cafe,” Urban Crunch brings together pretty much everything you could want in a cafe setting. There’s coffee, acai bowls, ice cream, and even Vito Rose Bagels.

“We’re a small family-owned business,” co-owner Kyrsten Sabb told What Now on Wednesday. “We started with ice cream trucks back in 2021 and expanded into brick-and-mortar this past year. We’re young, and we love entrepreneurship.”

And it shows: Urban Crunch now has two new locations coming down the line. The first will open in Land O’ Lakes this December, at 16856 Focus Loop. Then, in the first quarter of 2026, another Urban Crunch is set to open in Wesley Chapel. We’re looking forward to see how these new locations shape up!
