With more than 3,500 locations worldwide across dozens of countries, including more than 150 in the United States, BB.Q Chicken is a fried chicken giant. It was founded in 1995, and since then, it has been bringing Korean fried chicken to more and more countries around the world.
Now, BB.Q Chicken is planning an opening in Pinellas Park, at 7860 US Highway 19 N.
“We don’t have a set date yet, but it’ll most likely be by the end of October,” Long Nguyen, one of the franchisees behind BB.Q Chicken Pinellas Park, told What Now on Friday.
The Pinellas Park location’s website shows chicken flavor profiles like Galbi, Wings of Fire, Caribbean Spice, Spicy Original, Honey Garlic, and lots more.
Opening near the intersection with 78th Avenue N, BB.Q Chicken will be situated near an area Walmart, along with fast-casual concepts like McDonald’s and Wendy’s.
“The bb.q in our name stands for ‘Best of the Best Quality,’ and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants,” says the brand’s corporate website. “Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.”
