“We will come back stronger!” said a Facebook post published by Beverly’s Ice Cream on September 28, 2024. “Dear customers, we regret to inform you that due to Hurricane Helena, Beverly’s Ice Cream has suffered significant damage and will be temporarily closed. We are working hard to rebuild and bring back the flavors you love.”
Some time has passed since that post, still the most recent on the brand’s Facebook page, but signs point to a reopening on the horizon. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted Zougla, LLC for Beverly’s Ice Cream, opening at 6390 Gulf Blvd in St. Pete Beach.
In fact, Beverly’s Ice Cream has already opened its doors in a new location in Morristown, Tennessee, and, according to its website, is planning an opening not only at the St. Pete Beach address, but also in Indian Rocks Beach. (The Morristown location is already open; the two Florida locations are not yet viewable on Google Maps).
Beverly’s Ice Cream’s ice cream offerings included the Old Fashion Sundae (This delightful creation starts with two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream, providing the perfect canvas for a decadent experience), the Nutty Banana Waffle (a deliciously warm and fluffy waffle topped with sweet bananas and a hint of crunchy nuts), and the Tres Leches Sundae (This irresistible treats starts with a base of soft, spongy cake soaked in a rich three-milk blend, giving it a luscious texture and unique flavor).
“Whether you’re in the mood for something refreshingly fruity, decadently sweet, or uniquely savory, we have a flavor to suit every craving,” says the Beverly’s Ice Cream website. “Each batch is crafted with the finest ingredients and a touch of creativity, ensuring that every visit is a delicious journey through a spectrum of tastes and textures.”
