A new wine bar and cigar lounge is preparing to open its doors soon in St. Pete. Launching at 237 Second Ave S, Black Leaf Cigar and Wine Lounge will offer 3,800 square feet of comfortable space to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a cigar.

“What’s going to be different is this is a self-service wine lounge with cigars,” Christian, a co-owner of Black Leaf, told What Now on Wednesday. The self-pour machine will create a more relaxed environment, and a self-managed experience. “We have various pours. There’s a three-ounce pour, a six-ounce pour, and a nine-ounce pour, so you can taste a wine before you commit to it.”

Black Leaf will also be offering a membership program that includes access to a separate space—called The Vault—that features 34 member lockers.

“There will be special wines and cigars tucked away there, exclusive products,” Christian said. “You can also rent the lounge for events, as well as a private room located just off The Vault.”

Additionally, one membership tier will include monthly gifts of wine and cigars already waiting for you when you open your locker.

Alongside its wines, Black Leaf will be partnering with local breweries to serve up craft beers brewed in the area.
