Two popular fast-casual concepts—sandwich behemoth Jimmy John’s and Buffalo Wild Wings Go, the fast-casual spinoff of the popular sports bar concept—appear to have something in the works in Sarasota.

Plan review paperwork was submitted by Quality Foods Restaurant Group LLC for a “BWW Go / Jimmy Johns” concept that would open at 8037 S Tamiami Trail. That’s right: two concepts, one address. Coming across the paperwork, we got curious: does this mean the concepts will be opening together under one roof?

It’s conceivable. Both BBW Go and Jimmy’s Johns are part of the Inspire Brands family of concepts. What Now reached out to franchisee Tim Cloe on Friday to ask about what the plans are at 8037 S Tamiami Trail. Cloe was not immediately available for comment.

In other words, we’ll have to wait and see. Whether it’s one of the two concepts or both together, you can’t really go wrong with a proven sandwich concept like Jimmy John’s on one hand and the ever-popular wings and sauces of Buffalo Wild Wings Go on the other.

Opening in the South Tamiami Trail location, near the intersection with S Beneva Road, this new fast casual spot would join brands like Hobby Lobby, Planet Fitness, and Pizza Hut.

Stay tuned for more details.
