Founded in 2010 by a group of friends and lovers of Greek cuisine, Mediterranean restaurant CAVA currently has two locations operating in Tampa. And according to recent reporting from ThatsSoTampa.com, the chain is planning its next location for the Water Street Tampa district, opening at 904 E Eunice Ave.

CAVA’s menu is built around its bowls and pitas. Bowls include Balsamic Date Chicken (Grilled chicken, eggplant dip, red pepper hummus, corn, brown rice, spinach, balsamic date vinaigrette) and the Lentil Avocado Bowl (Falafel, roasted veg, roasted eggplant, hummus, avocado, lentil, tabbouleh, spinach, SuperGreens, skhug). Pitas, on the other hand, come in varieties like Sweet + Spicy Chicken, Crispy Falafel, and Spicy Lamb Meatball.

Part of the growing Water Street Tampa district, the location is one of a number of food and drink spots located nearby. These include Wagamama, Chill Bros Scoop, Small Giant Bar Restaurant, and Naked Farmer.

What Now reached out on Friday to CAVA CEO Brett Schulman on Friday. Schulman was not immediately available for comment on the location. The ThatsSoTampa coverage says the opening date is still to be announced.
