With more than three thousand locations worldwide, Chick-fil-A was one of the early conquerors of the chicken sandwich space. And as the brand’s chicken empire continues to expand, a new location is in the works in Tampa’s Carrollwood neighborhood. Plan review paperwork shows an opening planned for 3800 Ehrlich Road, near the Carrollwood Commons shopping center.

Chick-fil-A is famous for its simple Chicken Sandwich: breaded chicken, pickles, and bun. A spicy version is also available, along with deluxe versions of each, which tack on cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich allow guests to skip over the fry. Other chicken options include—of course—chicken nuggets and chicken strips, and Chick-fil-A’s unique Grilled Nuggets. All these pair nicely with the chain’s famous Chick-fil-A sauce.

A selection of salads and sides like the Cobb Salad and Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries, as well as soups like Chicken Noodle and Chicken Tortilla round out the meal. For dessert, have an Icedream Cone, a milkshake, a Frosted Coffee, or a Chocolate Fudge Brownie.

“Eating on the go can be a challenge, but we want to help,” says the Chick-fil-A website’s About page. “From hand-breading the chicken for our classic sandwiches to sourcing fresh produce for our salads and fruit cups, quality food has always been a top priority. We believe in delivering great fast food every day (except Sundays).

What Now confirmed news of the opening on Tuesday with franchisee Ricardo Sanchez. Sanchez said no set opening date has been determined yet.

“It’s looks like sometime in April,” Sanchez said. “Maybe mid-April.”
