Ciccio Restaurant Group was in the news this summer when the original location of its Fresh Kitchen concept caught fire. That location is still marked “Currently Closed” on the Fresh Kitchen website: “Thanks for all of the memories in SoHo over the past 10 years. We’re currently re-imagining our future!”

One thing that may have escaped notice, however, is that Ciccio Restaurant Group’s Taco Dirty restaurant concept, located at 2221 W Platt Street in Tampa, is expanding to a second location.

The second Taco Dirty will open in Riverview, at 10460 Drive, according to coverage by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Construction on the new location, planned for a still-upcoming shopping center, had not yet begun at the time of publication.

“Taco Dirty is a fast and casual Mexican restaurant, with a passion for fresh, quality ingredients,” says the Taco Dirty website. “Our menu features healthy Mexican food that is customizable, giving each guest the opportunity to create their own bowls and tacos to their perfection. We offer a variety of bowl bases, fresh veggies, flavorful proteins, unique Mexi-things, and house-made sauces. Our commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients leaves every bite guaranteed to hit the spot… TACO BOUT FLAVOR!”

The Tampa location experienced a shutdown due to the recent storms, but has reopened.

“We’re baaaaaaack!” says a recent Instagram post by the brand yesterday. “It’s been a challenging last few weeks. Whether you’ve been impacted by the storms or just looking for a place to take a break and enjoy a delicious meal, come through and get Dirty with us. Love ya, Tampa Bay.”
