Fifth Street Northwest in Winter Haven appears to be the future home of a new restaurant specializing in wings. A recently submitted plan review shows Crissy’s Wangz N Thangz preparing to open at 1900 5th St NW.
Behind Crissy’s Wangz N Thangz LLC is owner Crystal Haynes. What Now contacted Haynes by phone on Monday. Haynes confirmed that the restaurant would open in Winter Haven, but did not confirm the address given on the paperwork.
Haynes declined to comment further Crissy’s Wangz N Thangz, except to say that no opening date has been determined yet. Details pertaining to the Crissy’s Wangz N Thangz menu are not yet available.
The Fifth Street Northwest location sits not too far from the southeast edge of Inman Park, which occupies the southeast corner of Eighth Street Northwest and Martin Luther King Boulevard. On the other side of Eighth Street is a retail center that includes a variety of food and drink spots, including Chile Verde, Andreas Restaurant & Lounge, and Carmen’s Ice Cream Parlor.
