With two food truck locations currently in operation, Cuban pizza and smoothie shops Blasys Pizzeria has plans to launch a brick-and-mortar restaurant location at 7018 W Hillsborough Avenue, according to submitted plan review paperwork.

Known as “La casa de la tipica pizza cubana y los batidos naturales,” promising traditional Cuban-style pizza and natural smoothies, Blasys serves up pizzas in varieties like Ham, Peperone, Hawaiian, Olive, and the classic Cheese. Its Spaghetti menu features varieties like Spaghetti de Chorizo, Spaghetti de Salchicha, and Tuna Espaguetis.

Finally, Blasys milkshake flavors include Guava, Papaya, Strawberry, Pineapple, and Maracuya.

What Now reached out to owner Reinier Mesa on Saturday to inquire about plans for the opening. Mesa confirmed news of the opening but declined to comment further at this time.
