Home of the Butterburger and a frozen custard that’s famous nationwide, Culver’s is continuing to expand in the Greater Tampa Bay/Central Florida region. The brand’s count of more than 1000 locations in the U.S. will soon increase by two, as plan review paperwork has been submitted for new locations in Parrish and in Bartow.
Behind the Parrish location, which is opening at 10675 48th St E, is multi-unit franchisee David Koch. Koch opened his first Culver’s in Rockford, Illinois back in 1999.
“The brand has done very well over the years because of its premium quality,” Koch told What Now on Tuesday. “The Butterburger is of course our most famous product, but our fish sandwich is also very popular—and of course people love the premium custard.”
When can we expect the opening in Parrish? What Now asked.
“We don’t know exactly yet. Probably sometime in October.”
And that’s not all. Plan review paperwork was submitted for another location, this time in Bartow, by franchisee Jordan Palzer. The paperwork does not give a specific address, saying only that the location will open on US Highway 17.
What Now reached out to Palzer on Tuesday to inquire about the Bartow Culver’s location. Palzer was not immediately available for comment.
