Beloved as a great spot for fast-casual pasta on the go since it arrived in St. Pete in 2021, DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go is preparing to open a new St. Petersburg location to replace its former home, and with this opening, the brand is getting a big update.
“We’re looking toward a May 1 launch, give or take a day,” Chandler Caruso, one of the operators behind DalMoros in the U.S., told What Now on Thursday. “We’re getting everything set up.”
What does this update consist of? DalMoros will be getting a new look and a new logo, and it will be adding several new items, including new pasta sauces and paninos (which are still under wraps for now!).
“We’re looking to come back to St. Pete with a fresh, new face, but with that same Italian family-friendly feel that we’ve always had,” Keila, a partner in the project, said. “We will definitely still have all the staples that our loyal customer base loves, but we’ve taken a lot of feedback, and we’re trying to bring in some new recipes.”
“The new location is a lot more spacious,” added Caruso. “We’re going to be able to do a lot more output, and we’re right next to Jannus Live, where we’ll be able to catch those crowds going to concerts, and locals walking around town. We’re going to have a lot more seating, too. It’s a whole new vibe, and it’s what we’re aiming for with future locations.”
Current “pastabilities” from the DalMoros menu include choices like Pesto & Parmesan (Bigoli (thick spaghetti), pesto, pine nuts, parmesan cheese), Napoletana & Polpettes (Rigatoni, Napoletana, Polpettes (meatballs), parmesan cheese), and the Italian Polpette Panino.
Expect to find some surprises when DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go opens at 204 First Ave. N on May 1!
