Offering “super premium ice cream from Wisconsin”—namely, Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream—in “20+ flavors plus vegan ice cream, candy, toys, and more,” Delectable Delights has been building a following since its founding in 2015 in Lutz. But something big has been going on since last year. In quick succession, the brand launched a new location in Winter Haven in 2023, and then in Trinity earlier this year.
Delectable Delights is now at work on a fourth location in Dade City, where it will launch at 14145 Seventh Street.
What Now reported last year on plans for the Winter Haven opening, but the Trinity launch caught us by surprise—it caught Devra, who owns Delectable Delights, by surprise, too.
“We went to one of the territories that carries Chocolate Shop Ice Cream to look at the some equipment, and then we ended up taking open that lease,” Devra told What Now on Monday. “It completely fell into our lap. We renovated the space and were open within 26 days. It’s been really good. We love being there. The neighborhood loves the ice cream and we have the best neighbors.”
Delectable Delights’ice cream comes in flavors like Butter Pecan, This $&!@ Just Got Serious, Exhausted Parent, Munchie Madness, Cotton Candy, Ultimate Oreo, and more, and it can come atop a brownie a la mode, in a shake or malt, or in one of Delectable Delights’ house-made waffle cones.
“We also carrie a cookie dough cheesecake and some specialty milkshake that is a bit like a mocktail. It has the flavor of a hard milkshake without the alcohol.”
