The retail center on the northeast corner of Swift Road and Clark Road in Sarasota will soon welcome two new restaurants into its food and beverage community.

The first, a new pizza concept called Doughboy Swift, will open in the space formerly occupied by Donato’s Pizza, according to local insider Facebook feed Restaurants in Sarasota. The second, called Maso, will be a sitdown steak and seafood restaurant, replacing Pucchini’s.

Restaurants in Sarasota says Doughboy Swift is expected to open first, but no precise opening dates have been announced.

What Now reached out Friday to Broc Smith, co-owner of the upcoming restaurants together with Jeremy Rice, to inquire about Doughboy Swift’s and Maso’s project opening timelines, and the details on their menu offerings. Smith was not immediately available for comment.

In addition to DG Ace Hardware and Detwiler’s Farm Market, the Swift-Clark retail center is also home to restaurants like China Wok and Rita’s Italian Ice.

Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available about Doughboy Swift and Maso.
