As Amherst, New York-born Buffalo wing chain Duff’s Famous Wings prepares to launch its first Central Florida location in Seminole Heights this summer, franchisee Adrien Angelvy tells What Now there’s another location also in the works.

“We’re definitely doing more locations in Florida,” Angelvy said in a phone conversation. “We’re working on a location in Sarasota.”

Details on the location—its address and opening date, for example—are still under wraps for the moment.

That means more of Duff’s streamlined menu, which features sauces that start with a spice level of Mild but advance quickly past Hot to reach Super Hot Sauce and Death Sauce (!)—or, if you’re looking to go in a different direction, there are also flavors like Sweet Cajun and Garlic Parm.

That’s all alongside classic appetizers like jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks, which lead into a selection of sandwiches and wraps like the Tenderloin Steak Sandwich and the Beef on Weck (Our beef is slow cooked in house for 24 hours, then it’s sliced thin and piled high on a locally baked, toasted kimmelweck roll).

That’s taken from the original menu in Amhert, New York. It’s not yet known how the brand’s Florida menus might differ—although, it seems certain they will. Angelvy says, for example, that the Seminole Heights Duff’s will focus more on cocktails, matching the vibe of the overall Tampa scene.
